Denise Nix is a specialist with a degree in Early Childhood Education and over 30 years experience as an Early Childhood Professional Educator. She is a licensed KiddyKeys piano instructor and a member of the Piano Teachers Federation. She is well-known locally for her work with very young children as a highly creative and nurturing teacher, and she is the founder of "BittyStrings", a program for very young learners of the violin. A former Childcare Director, she has also had the pleasure of teaching Baby Sign Language, Preschool Reading, Introductory French/Spanish, Art, and of course, Music. With a Facebook page of over 500 followers, her music program has reached both children, teens, & adults of all ages. Denise has volunteered many years as a Children's Face Painter (pre-pandemic), and she currently serves as a children's virtual Hand Bell Choir Director at her local church. Denise has 3 grown sons, and she enjoys preparing southern cuisine, crafting, videography, and writing.
